Rated 2 out of 5 by grumpy12 from Looks good but not practical Was so happy when I saw this thin binding album at the store, but I filled up the ten pages pretty quick. Michaels did not have refills so I bought two more thinking I could use the pages out of them to add to the first one as a gift for my daughter and then order refills online...for my own album. More pain than it's worth since you can't open the pins holding the pages.

Rated 1 out of 5 by Neve23 from Poor quality I purchased this scrapbook with the intention on adding extra pages. The 2 screws holding the pages together in the 3 books I bought one come out easy the other not at all. So impossible to add pages. Will be returning.

Rated 1 out of 5 by Upset shopper from Need work. Terrible. Just a blob of photo. What is inside? How is it constructed? What kind of paper? What is the opening mechanism? Is it refillable? Suitable for a 7 year old? Where is your site search botton????? Get with the program?????

Rated 2 out of 5 by Hudson13 from refills are a problem Basically a cheap product. Tried to use 2 hole standard plastic sleeves and had to punch and reinforce additional holes to fit. Cheap plastic feel to the cover. The size is good but since you can't really add to it, it is only usable as is.

I had the bright idea to buy one of these dirt-cheap during a sale, deconstruct it, and rebuild it as a customized album (since I couldn't find anything that fit my aesthetic). I couldn't even unscrew the posts to take the pages out! One side of the posts had the typical screw-head slots, the other was completely smooth; no way to get a firm hold on it to take the posts apart. Thought maybe it was a factory error, so I took it back and returned it, then went through every 8.5x11 album on the shelf - nope, every single one had the same issue with the posts. I guess these albums were made to utelize the accompanying pages and no additions????

When I went to expand the book, it took my husband and a pair of pliers to get one of the posts out. Once I tried adding the extenders, the same post that we had difficulty taking out wouldn't allow the extension post to screw all the way down. Out came the trusty pliers again. Once that problem was solved, the next issue was the holes in the refills didn't line up with the posts. Finally, the extension that came with the refill sheets had a much larger opening so the top of the post that screws in to hold everything together kept falling out. Finally took the whole thing back. I selected another album and more refills in the store and made them check them before purchasing -- same problem. Unless you only want 10 sheets per album, buy something else.
